From NetFlix: Based on the renowned novel by Richard Yates and set in the mid-1950s, this story helmed by Sam Mendes follows the Wheelers (Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslett, in a Golden Globe-winning role), a young couple in suburban Connecticut who tries desperately to confront the problems in their relationship while raising two children. Despite their best intentions, the couple's intense arguments send them -- and the entire family -- into a downward spiral.The Filmster, Barbara Nachman, recommended this flick with these words: " I saw RR last night and one charachter was fresh out of a mental institution and knocking Electric Shock Therapy (ECT). Interesting, but somewhat heavy-handedly, he was used as the voice of reason. It was a far more interesting movie than the trailer suggested."
